In the course of the last year the Government of the Kingdom of Norway has invested almost 18 million euros in the projects that have been realizing in Serbia. “At the moment Norwegian companies are fourth or fifth biggest investors in Serbia, while as the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway strives to encourage even more companies from the country to start business in Serbia”, said the Norwegian Ambassador HE Mr Nil Ragnar Kamsvag at the meeting with the Mayor of Kragujevac Veroljub Stevanovic.
“I am glad that your local community makes great effort to create the most favorable environment for investor’s arrival. Our biggest investment in Serbia is Telenor, and what we have been doing is attracting other companies on the basis of positive experience of our companies that have already been doing business here”, he added.
The Mayor Stevanovic said that he expects broader cooperation with Norway. He pointed out that during the 90s in the most difficult time for Serbia, from this very country came the most significant aid.
