MSc Vlado Vuckovic

He was born on January 12. 1947. in Vucjak, Slavonska Pozega, Croatia. He finished the First Grammar School and graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Kragujevac. Subsequently he received master degree from the same faculty with highest grades.

Up to now he has been engaged on the following affairs:

Technical Support Service at "Zastava automobiles" (1973-1977),
Assistant professor and lecturer at the Technical School for Employees, motor vehicle section, at the same time deputy Principal of above mentioned school (1977-1985),
Export Markets Post-Sales Manager at "Zastava automobiles" (1985-1988),
Technical Representative Officer of "Zastava Automobiles" in Reading, Great Britain, where he closely cooperated with British Industry and Transportation Ministry (1988-1999), when UN economic sanctions to former Yugoslavia were introduced, the activities of the joint company Yougoslav-British "Zastava" were frozen, he was Executive Director of the newly formed company CEPTT which continued to supply British market with spare car parts from alternative sources until it was eventually closed in 1998,
Post-sales Manager for "Yugo-Lada" in Belgrade (1999-2002),
Independent researcher at Product and technology Development Directorate within "Zastava Vehicles" Group (2003-2004),
Leading City Expert in charge of Economy and Privatization (2004-2008), he worked on creating a positive economic environment which made the city of Kragujevac considered very acceptable and desirable investment destination both in Serbia and abroad; consequently, good and well thought over plans and projects provided significant assets from National Investment Plan of Republic of Serbia that are to facilitate infrastructure in the industrial and working zone.

In his youth he was professional football player with such a success that made him well-known. After putting an end to sports career, he continued to be present in the sports life participating in various sports forums and institutions including football club "Radnicki" from Kragujevac.

He is married and a father of two children.
