Member of the City Council in charge of Social Policy and Child Care
Slavica Saveljic
She was born on December 10. 1965. in Kragujevac. She finished the First Grammar School in Kragujevac, and later on graduated Sociology from the Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy with the highest grade at the final exam paper on the subject "Absenteeism from work".
Up to now she has been engaged on the following affairs:
- Practitioner and expert adviser at "Zastava Automobiles", and director at the Analysis, Development and Public Information Sector within the Human Resources Directorate at this company (189-1997),
- Acting Director at the Inter Municipality Social Welfare Center "Solidarity" (1997),
- Director at the public company the City of Kragujevac Vacation and Recreation Center for Children and Youth (1998),
- Leading City Expert in charge of Social Policy (2004-2008).
As a representative of the city she was a member of the Executive Board of the Center for Elderly, a member of Executive Board SIRP, the UN HABITAT program, as well as a member of Executive Board for improvement of elderly circumstances and protection.
She takes park in the Protection of the Human Rights Program as a co-operator.
She has been actively involved in political life since 1992. She is a member of Coalition Presidency "Together for Kragujevac"
She is married and a mother of a child.
