Vesna Stanisic

Vesna Stanisic was born on July 30 1963 in Kragujevac.

In her hometown she completed the primary and secondary school education, and also graduated from the Faculty of Law.

In 1993 and 1994 she volunteered at Kragujevac Municipal Court in order to get professional training, and as part of juridical exam preparation, which she passed in 1995.

Since 1997 she has been employed at the City of Kragujevac Administration at the following positions:

-Secretary at the Local Community Office in 1997 and1998
-Expert Associate at Legal Assistance Service in 1998 and 1999
-Head of the Personnel Service in 1999
-Secretary at the General Affairs Department in 1999 and in the first half of 2000
-Administrative Secretary at the City Assembly President Office from June until October 2000
-Expert Assistant at the Executive Board Office in 2000 and 2001
-Independent Expert Assistant at the Organization and Regulation Department from 2001 until 2004
-Head of the City Council, Mayor and General Affairs Administration since 2004
-At the position she was reelected in 2008 to five year term.

She completed the training program organized by the School of Public and Urban Management, University of Arlington (Texas, USA), along with the Center for Public Administration, University of Kragujevac, and received the Public Administration Manager Certificate in 2004.
