Cooperation of the City of Kragujevac and South Moravia Region in the field of education, culture and sport was discussed at the meeting of the representatives of Local Authorities and the Delegation of South Moravia Region. Today's meeting along with the cooperation and friendly relations of the Cities of Kyjov and Kragujevac included consideration of the Project of two identical multifunctional sport playgrounds construction in Kyjov and Kragujevac. Both playgrounds construction is estimated to 400.000 € that will be financed from the special funds of the Czech Republic Government.
President of the City Assembly Miroslav Petrasinovic noticed that the cooperation of South Moravian Region and Kragujevac lasts 15 years. Our City of Czech Kyjov are connected by friendly relations and numerous cultural and educational projects implemented. Construction of multifunctional playground in Kragujevac will enhance further project development beneficial for our citizens with our Czech friends, said Petrasinovic.
South Moravia Region has supported City Kragujevac through many projects from its foundation. We have initiated the cooperation now in sport and our priority is construction of multifunctional playgrounds, I also expect enhancement of cooperation in education, culture and art, said Bohumil Šimek governor of the South Moravia Region.
The cooperation of the School of Music “Dr Miloje Milojevic“ from Kragujevac and the Conservatory Brno is also discussed at today's meeting. Brno Conservatory will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019. The cooperation of development agencies is also of the great importance; Regional Economic Development Agency of Sumadija and Pomoravlje and Regional Development Agency South Moravia implemented jointly number of projects. South Moravia Region financially supported education and projects of utility infrastructure, culture and social protection in Kragujevac.
