His Excellency Raul Bartolome Molina, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Serbia visited Kragujevac today and talked with Mayor Nikola Dasic about the possibilities of economic cooperation, i.e. the possibilities for the arrival of Spanish companies in Kragujevac.

The Ambassador noted that economic cooperation does not follow good political relations between our two countries and that this is a priority area that should be addressed in the future.
The Mayor said that the Spanish company Teknia is operating successfully in Kragujevac, as well as that the Mind Group is successfully cooperating with the Spanish KAF, the largest factory of railway vehicles and buses.

The ambassador expressed concern of informing other Spain companies of conditions for investments in Kragujevac. Next year, Spain will organize a big economic forum in Belgrade, at which Spanish-speaking countries will be presented, with the participants of the Western Balkans countries. Cultural cooperation development was also addressed.

The Ambassador also visited the Faculty of Philology and Arts and the Department of Spanish, where he talked with professors and students about the possibility of expanding cooperation with the Cervantes Institute.
